“Revolution of Dignity”: Decoding/ Deconstructing and Fact-Checking USAID Administrator Samantha Power’s “Major Foreign Policy Address” of June 7, 2022 (Part II)

[Author’s Note] While Part II of this commentary stands on its own merits, I recommend reading Part I first.

Power’s Call to arms for the start of an ideological Cold War to save the Obama/Biden New World Order (O/B NWO)

The opening lines of the Communist Manifesto reads,

A specter is haunting Europe—the specter of Communism. All the powers of old Europe have entered into a holy alliance to exorcise this specter: Pope and Tsar, Metternich and Guizot, French Radicals and German police-spies.

Samantha Power’s “major foreign policy speech” summarized sounds almost as apocalyptic.

The dawn of a New Age is upon the world- the dawn of a New Age of Revolution of Dignity. All the powers of New Europe have entered into a holy alliance to establish this New Age: Obama, Biden, the kings, princes and knights of the Empire of the Obama/Biden New World Order (O/B NWO), Emmanuel Macron, Boris Johnson, the CIA…

Like Joan of Arc, the savior of France, Samantha Power is on a mission to save the world by stoking a global “Revolution of Dignity” against “authoritarians,” “illiberal forces,” dictators, tyrants and such.

More specifically, Power, the Guardian Angel of Human Rights and Democracy is on a crusade to save the world from the Axis of Evil – Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, Venezuela, and everyone else on the Biden administration’s List of Crippling Sanctions, including Ethiopia.

In her speech, Power declared and issued her D Day orders against the Axis of Evil:

Now, in this moment again, a key moment, a moment of profound weakness for the world’s illiberal forces, America and all who share our values—the world’s democracies, allies in the private sector, civil society, multilateral institutions, religious and diaspora communities, everyday citizens— all of us must build on the unity that we have demonstrated in Ukraine to try to extend a broader revolution of dignity to people seeking to be free.

Hallelujah! Salvation arrives as the end of times bears upon us.

The Forces of Good will finally meet the Forces of Evil and defeat them at the Battle of the Revolution of Dignity!

The Forces of Good shall be the leaders of the Obama/Biden New World Order!

On the side of the Forces of Evil shall be Vladmir Putin, Xi Jinping & Co.

The pieces now fall into place.

Power’s “Revolution of Dignity” is actually the battle plan for the global glorious victory of the Obama/Biden New World Order.

In December 2021, Biden at the first-ever Summit for Democracy called on the “free world to transform what it means to fight for our values on the global stage.”

Our values, of course, are democracy and human rights.

Biden argued:

Autocrats seek to advance their own power, export and expand their influence around the world, and justify their repressive policies and practices as a more efficient way to address today’s challenges. Most worrying of all, the autocrats  increasing the dissatisfaction of people all around the world with democratic governments that they feel are failing to deliver for their needs.

Biden sounded the bugle to marshal the Army of Good:

We’re bringing together leaders from more than 100 governments alongside activists, trade unionists, and other members of civil society, leading experts and researchers, and representatives from the business community to lock arms and reaffirm our shared commitment to make our democracies better.

Ironically, Biden invited only 17 of the 54 African countries to attend the Summit for Democracy which sought “to renew democracy at home and confront autocracies abroad.”

On March 24, 2022, Biden addressing the Business Roundtable’s CEO Quarterly Meeting, which included the bosses of General Motors, Apple and Amazon, concluded his remarks by saying:

Now is a time when things are shifting. We’re going to – there’s going to be a new world order out there, and we’ve got to lead it. And we’ve got to unite the rest of the free world in doing it.

Using almost the same words, Power in her “major foreign policy address,” talked about using the “world’s democracies, allies in the private sector, civil society, multilateral institutions, religious and diaspora communities, everyday citizens” to launch the revolution.

During May 3-26, 2022, the World Economic Forum (WEF) gathered the world’s super elites and ultra-superrich to discuss the Obama/Biden New World Order and map out their strategy for world government.

WEF’s declared aim is to create a new world order using globalization as a cover and “by engaging business, political, academic and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.”

The powers that be behind the O/B NWO are orchestrating global multilateral organizations and in concert with domestic elite groups manipulate political and financial and economic events to achieve world domination.

Power’s “Revolution of Dignity”

Power uses the coded phrase “revolution of dignity” as the centerpiece of her speech.

It is through this revolution that she seeks to crush the Forces of Evil and make the world safe for American liberal democracy.

What exactly is the “revolution of dignity?”

Power is trying to get one over on us.

What she wanted to say is “revolution of human rights.”

Power made fame and fortune peddling “human rights.”

In the mid-1990s Power covered the Yugoslav Wars and did “shrill advocacy journalism” in Bosnia after illegally entering that country using a forged letter.

In 1998, Power became the founding executive director of the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at Harvard’s Kennedy School.

In 2003, she was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for her book, “ A Problem from Hell: America and the Age of Genocide.” It was an indictment of America’s century long  inaction in the face of unspeakable crimes against humanity.

Power has been a crusader for “human rights” and even as a high-level policy maker could not shed her shrill and annoying policy activism. In one situation,

Obama said that he welcomed her advocacy, but he sometimes bristled when she voiced it. More than once, Obama told Power, ‘You get on my nerves.’ In 2013, during a meeting in the Situation Room to discuss Syria, Obama, put off by her arguments, snapped, ‘We’ve all read your book, Samantha.’

In a 2001 op ed in The Atlantic, Power outed her now best buddy Susan Rice for her depraved indifference to the Rwandan genocide:

At an interagency teleconference in late April, Susan Rice, a rising star on the NSC who worked under Richard Clarke, stunned a few of the officials present when she asked, ‘If we use the word ‘genocide’ and are seen as doing nothing, what will be the effect on the November [congressional] election?’ Lieutenant Colonel Tony Marley remembers the incredulity of his colleagues at the State Department. ‘We could believe that people would wonder that but not that they would actually voice it.

Power’s crusade for human rights has transformed her into a rabid and fanatical zealot in support of the cause of TPLF terrorism in Ethiopia.

Over the past year, Power has been the principal public mouthpiece in the US government for the terrorist TPLF.

She lied time after time about famine in Ethiopia to arouse global condemnation of the Ethiopia government and sympathy for the terrorist TPLF.

I am proud to say that I proved beyond a shadow of doubt Power had maliciously  and spitefully lied through her teeth about famine in Ethiopia.

The fact of the matter is that I have not lost sight of the big picture in what Power is trying to do with her “revolution of dignity.”

In my view, Power is using “dignity” (human rights) to evangelize and proselytize for the conquest and domination of the world by the Obama/Biden New World Order.

“Human rights” is Power’s powerful ideological weapon and Trojan Horse in the global campaign to entrench the O/B NWO.

The “Revolution of Dignity” is nothing more than the mouthing off sugary language of human rights and demonizing, antagonizing, marginalizing, dehumanizing, neutralizing, delegitimizing, polarizing, scandalizing, ostracizing, criticizing and demoralizing those who resist or defy the O/B NWO

Article I of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) provides, “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.”

Power uses the phrase “revolution of dignity” to resonate the UDHR and conceal the fact that she is actually talking about a “revolution in human rights” and using that revolution in the service of the Obama/Biden New World Order.

The U.S. and the West in general use a double standard in applying human rights enforcements. Human rights apply to “authoritarian” and “illiberal forces” but not the US and the West.

In 2019, the US sanctioned the International Criminal Court prosecutor because she dared to investigate US human rights abuses in Afghanistan.

Why should Africans accept a Euro-centric, Western-centric human rights regime and norms?

Why can’t Africans follow a human rights regime that reflects African norms, traditions, history and culture?

It is often said the English Magna Carta (1215) is the first document to include any notion of human rights with Article 39’s insistence on due process and rule of law of the land.

Africa had its own contemporaneous oral declaration of rights and law developed in the thirteenth century called the “Kurukan Fuga” or “Manden Charter.”

The Manden Charter addresses social peace, the sanctity of human life, women’s rights, the right to an education, food security, and even to self-expression.

Why do Africans need a revolution of dignity imposed upon them?

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the foundational document of post WW II human rights conventions with only 48 countries signing it in 1948.

Ethiopia was the only truly independent African country that signed the UDHR. Egypt signed but was only nominally independent from British rule. Liberia also signed but was effectively a US outpost in Africa.

Indeed, at the writing of the UDHR, virtually all of Africa was under the worst form of human rights violation known to man called colonialism.

Why must Africa become the battleground for the “revolution of dignity” waged by amoral and immoral Western liberal elites?

This raises the timeless question of the “White Man’s Burden” which is to save the “half child, half devil Africans” from themselves.

African have long been a battleground for colonial conflicts, Cold War conflicts and resources conflicts.

Africa does not need to be the killing fields for a new “Revolution of Dignity.”

Suffice it to say, the “Revolution of Dignity” is merely the Trojan Horse in the Obama/Biden New World Order conquest of the world.

Power’s “Revolution of Dignity” will be televised live and on social media

Back in my day, Gil Scott-Heron, the African American soul and jazz poet (spoken-word performer) wrote a song announcing, “The revolution will NOT be televised… The revolution will be live…”

Gil meant the corporate media will not televise the uprising of poor people.

It is a new day.

The “Revolution of Dignity “will be televised live!

It will be broadcasted on fake news CNN and written about in fabricated news New York Times.

It will be all over social media and cyberspace.

The Dignity Revolution, according to Power, shall begin by using the embers of “democratic bright spots” to stoke the fires of outrage globally and “help people fight digital authoritarianism, and shine a light on corrupt oligarchs and autocrats.”

The revolution will take place in Power’s Manichean world of good and evil.

In Power’s World of Good, the U.S. donates vaccines, invests in global health and stands ready to prevent, detect, and respond to infectious disease outbreaks and pandemics, etc.

In Power’s World of Evil, Russia blockades ports and unleashes hunger and inflicts pain on millions of people around the world and with its confederate “illiberal forces who use new tools and technologies to spread their influence.”

Power preached, “To extend a revolution of dignity throughout the world, we must cement progress in democratic bright spots that are out there right now.”

Which countries are the paragons of “bright spots” for the world to follow?

Moldova (pop. 2.6 million) and Zambia (pop. 18.3million).

Moldova set the bar for “bright spots” as it “delivered a landslide victory to pro-democracy and anticorruption forces in parliament, sending a powerful message to the world and to the neighborhood, that they wanted to break oligarchic control of their economy and foster closer relations with the West.”

Zambia takes second place as a “bright spot. “Last year’s Zambian elections saw an unprecedented turnout, especially of first-time voters, women, and young people, ushering in an opposition candidate, Hakainde Hichilema, who had been detained 15 times…15 times and who pledged to reverse years of democratic backsliding, to fight corruption, and to counter inequality.”

In 2021, the “bright spot” Moldova was ranked 105/180 on the Corruption Index. 22% of public service users paid a bribe in the previous 12 months to get things done in government.

In 2021, the “bright spot” Zambia was ranked  117/180 countries on the  Corruption Index. 18% of Zambian public service users paid a bribe in the previous 12 months to get things done in government.

Some bright spots!

Power argues,

what a democratic bright spot may most desperately need is debt relief, shipments of wheat or vaccines, support for a more robust social safety net, particularly amid economic reforms, or even just an infusion of bureaucratic expertise so that citizens have access to basic services.

Power exhorts,

We have to be nimble. We must prioritize actions that can quickly offer support to bright spots, be it financial investment, technical assistance, or favorable policy reforms that we ourselves can undertake across the U.S. government, or potentially across international or multilateral institutions.

In short, the “revolution of dignity will be implemented by US aid, more US handouts, more US alms and more freebies.

That is Dead Aid!

How preposterous to suggest beggars be given back their dignity by keeping them perpetually on the dole! That is adding insult to injury!

“So what can we do to support people in countries who are not experiencing a democratic breakthrough?” asks Power?

Power’s answer,

We have to help people fight the digital propaganda and surveillance systems that autocracies and less-established democracies are using to assault citizens both within and outside of their borders.

Power promised to host at the UN General Assembly this fall, “a Bright Spots Summit, bringing leaders from the public and private sectors and civil society together with governments experiencing democratic breakthroughs to help them deliver on the needs of their people.”

Power’s “bright spots” seem to have been scarfed from George Bush I’s “thousand points of light.”

Bush said, “I will keep America moving forward, always forward—for a better America, for an endless enduring dream and a thousand points of light.”

Power says,

To turn a bright spot into that enduring beacon, we have to focus on delivering progress, and not just executing development programs. We must bring together the private sector, foundations, and philanthropic actors to increase investment that can generate new and visible opportunities for citizens.

(Samantha Power borrowing so much from Ron Reagan, Bush I and II! I wonder if she is a DINO (democrat in name only?)

The idea of “bright spots” is simply silly and quixotic at best.

If Power believes she can conquer the world dangling Christmas tree lights with glittering presents of promises of financial investment, technical assistance and debit relief, she will be greeted with the same chuckle as Father Christmas bringing presents riding his reindeer.

Democracy, democrazy and demockracy

Power mentioned “democracy” 31 times in her speech.

She talked about “imperiled democracy,” the “global case for democracy,” “American democracy,” “enemies of democracy,” “representative democracy,” “this democracy,” “democracy is not a dying cause,”  “embrace of democracy,” our own democracy” and on and on.

Does the Obama/Biden administration really care about the spread of democracy in the world?

An Ethiopian case study

When Ethiopia planned its elections in 2021, there was not a stone the Biden administration did not turn to undermine, discredit, delegitimize and thwart it.

The reprehensible role the Biden administration played, siding with the terrorist TPLF, in Ethiopia’s 2021 election shows that Ethiopia can have only the democracy approved by Power and the Biden administration.

Long before the Biden administration showed its hand on Ethiopia’s election, I had called them out.

Barely two weeks into the Biden administration, in my February 14, 2021 commentary, I warned about a conspiracy to “sabotage democratic reform in Ethiopia and undermine confidence in the 2021 Election”.

Then on April 29, 2021, the tell-tale signs of that conspiracy became evident.

The message was the same. Postpone, postpone and postpone the 2021 Ethiopia election.

US Senators Ben Cardin, Tim Kaine, Jacky Rosen, Cory Booker and Ed Markey wrote a letter to US Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa, Jeffrey Feltman effectively declaring any election Ethiopia is null and void:

… These planned elections are not currently on track to meet international standards for freedom, fairness, and transparency. Already, several opposition political parties in Ethiopia have announced plans to abstain from the elections due to a lack of faith that they will be conducted credibly. This fear is based in part on the government’s detention of thousands of opposition leaders and supporters, some of whom have been deprived of due process, tortured, or even summarily executed, according to Amnesty International’s May 2020 Report. We worry that, if elections move forward without the reforms required to earn the trust of the Ethiopian public, growing ethnic and political tensions across the country will boil over into violence.”  (emphasis added)

The letter was intended to delegitimize, thwart, and if that fails incite disorder by predicting “violence” if elections should take place.

The letter was also full of lies.

The letter claimed, “several opposition parties pulled out.”

Only one party pulled out.

Indeed, 40 parties had fielded candidates, but most of them were regional parties. Some 9,000 candidates ran in federal and regional races, the highest number of candidates in any Ethiopian election.

The “political tensions” mentioned in the letter were terrorist activities conducted by the TPLF (supported by the Biden administration) and other terrorists groups financed and supported by the TPLF.

On May 26, 2021, in an op-ed entitled, “On Ethiopia, the U.S. Must Show Resolve”, Senator Robert Menendez, Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and Congressman Gregory Meeks, Chairman of the House Foreign Relations Committee repeated the canard of unfair elections and raised the specter of state collapse and failure:

Against this grim backdrop, few believe Ethiopia’s upcoming national elections stand a real chance of being free or fair… The Biden administration’s recent announcement of visa bans on those perpetuating the suffering in Tigray is a good start, but more robust measures are needed… Our interests cannot be met through a partnership with a failed state. A fraught US-Ethiopia relationship is a far lower price to pay than that of state collapse. The prudent course is clear. In support of a peaceful, prosperous, democratic Ethiopia, America must show resolve. (Italics added.)

In my May 4, 2021 commentary I exposed the US/European Union conspiracy to delegitimize the Ethiopian election.

On June 11, 2021, the US State Department issued a statement disparaging and trivializing Ethiopia’s election:

The United States is gravely concerned about the environment under which these upcoming elections are to be held.  The detention of opposition politicians, harassment of independent media, partisan activities by local and regional governments, and the many interethnic and inter-communal conflicts across Ethiopia are obstacles to a free and fair electoral process…

It was a well-coordinated psyops against the people of Ethiopia to prevent elections by exaggerating the risk of violence and signaling the US will not recognize the outcome of any election even if it is free and fair because Ethiopia did not hold its elections as the US had commanded.

Lawrence Freeman put it well:

It should be noted that the United States has never postponed a national election, despite severe dislocations of its people. Not during World War II, not during the Great Depression, not during the Spanish Flu, and not during the surge of the Covid-19 pandemic, which led to the largest number of mail-in ballots in U.S. history. Even in 1864, while tens of thousands of Americans were imprisoned or fighting on the battlefield in the midst of the U.S. Civil War, the election was held, and Abraham Lincoln, the unfaltering defender of the Union, was re-elected.

When election day arrived, Ethiopians waited in line by the millions in the rain and darkness to cast their votes.

People waited all day to cast their votes.”

Indeed, Ethiopia had its election and the results were certified as free and fair by the African Union Elections Observation Team.

The 2021 Ethiopian election met the standards of both the Declaration on the Principles Governing Democratic Elections in Africa and the African Charter on Democracy, Elections and Governance.

What is incredible is the fact that during the Ethiopian election not a single shot was fired.

Not a single person was killed during the election.

There were no attempts to take over the Ethiopian parliament.

No group, party leader or individual one came out to challenge the legitimacy of the outcome of the election.

There is no question the 2021 election made Ethiopia a “bright spot” in Africa.

But in an incredible act of indignity and unforgivable disrespect to the people of Ethiopia, neither the White House, the State Department nor the US Embassy congratulated or even acknowledged Ethiopia and Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed for conducting a free and fair election.

The US continued to dish out negative propaganda to delegitimize the outcome of the Ethiopian election.

In fact, to show its pleasure the Biden administration went on a crazy frenzy urging US citizens in Ethiopia to leave and return to the US.

In the world’s greatest democracy in 2020, the President of the United States conspired to delegitimize the presidential election as “stolen” without a shred of evidence.

Over 74 million Americans, the vast majority of whom are Republicans, voted for Trump in 2020.

Most Republicans believe the 2020 presidential election was stolen.”

The U.S. House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol is conducting its proceedings as of this writing.

As of June 13, 2022, 865 people who violently stormed the US Capitol believing the election was stolen have been criminally charged.

In 2021 alone, 19 American states have enacted 33 laws that will make it harder for Americans to vote, with draconian criminal liabilities.

Is this the “imperiled democracy” Power is trying to export via “Revolution of Dignity” to the rest of the world?

Is it not more convincing to clean up one’s own house before calling someone else’s house filthy and trying to clean it up for them?

Or as Scripture teaches, “First take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”

In 2017 Power said,

It should worry all Americans that a foreign government interfered in the U.S. election. It is not about the leader we choose- but about who gets to choose our leader.

What is good for the goose is good for the gander.

Better yet, what is good for the Bald Eagle is good for the Black Lion.

Truth be told, Ethiopians were not worried that a foreign government interfered in their election and tried to thwart, discredit and delegitimize it.

They know the leader they wanted to choose and chose the leader they wanted. Ethiopia Invictus!

The “REAL DEMOCRACY” the US supported in Ethiopia

After the terrorist TPLF conducted elections in 2010, the European Union Election Observation Mission to Ethiopia issued its “Final Report on the House of People’s Representatives and State Council Elections” and concluded:

…The electoral process fell short of international commitments for elections, notably regarding the transparency of the process and the lack of a level playing field for all contesting parties. Insufficient efforts were taken to ensure a more equitable and representative electoral process.

What was the U.S. Response to the 2010 election?

The U.S. brushed off the rigged 2010 election with the obligatory expression of “concern” and “disappointment”.

On May 25, 2010, White House National Security Spokesman Mike Hammer said:

We are concerned that international observers found that the elections fell short of international commitments. We are disappointed that U.S. Embassy officials were denied accreditation and the opportunity to travel outside of the capital on Election Day to observe the voting.  The limitation of independent observation and the harassment of independent media representatives are deeply troubling. An environment conducive to free and fair elections was not in place even before Election Day…

Johnnie Carson, Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs told  House of Representatives panel, “

While the elections were calm and peaceful and largely without any kind of violence, we note with some degree of remorse that the elections there were not up to international standards.

Did the US call for new elections? No!

Did the US impose sanctions for a fraudulent election? NO!

All the U.S. could do was “express concern, remorse and disappointment” and shed a few crocodile tears.

But the U.S. continued to subsidize the TPLF dictatorship with hundreds of millions of dollars in aid.

What about U.S. and the 2015 Ethiopian election?

In May 2015, Ethiopia had its parliamentary election.

The terrorist TPLF declared it had won 100 percent of the seats in parliament.

There were 45 national parties competing in 2015.

Not one of them won a single seat!

I knew that was going to happen!

In my May 11, 2014 commentary, a full year before the 2015 election, I wrote with prophetic precision that the TPLF would win the 2015 election by at least 100 percent.

Human Rights Watch noted, “Elections where a ruling party wins 100 percent of the seats in parliament should always ring alarm bells.”

It was laughter bells, not alarm bells that went off when President Barack Obama and his National Security Advisor visited Ethiopia in July 2015, exactly two months to the day after the election.

At a press conference during Obama’s visit to Ethiopia in July 2015,  Susan Rice was asked if the 2015 election in Ethiopia in which the ruling party declared 100 percent victory was democratic.

Rice busted out laughing immediately after she stated that the election of the “Prime Minister of Ethiopia” is “absolutely – 100 percent democratic”.

Reporter Isaac: Does the President consider the presidents of Kenya and Ethiopia democratically-elected Presidents?

Susan Rice: I think the Prime Minister of Ethiopia was just elected with 100 percent of the vote, which I think suggests, as we have stated in our public statements, some concern for the integrity of the electoral process — at least if not in the outcomes, then in some of the mechanisms that supported the process, the freedom for the opposition to campaign.

Reporter Isaac: But does he [President Obama] think it was a democratic election?

Susan Rice: Absolutely – 100 percent.

Susan Rice: Busts out laughing uncontrollably.

The same day Obama slapped Ethiopians in the face by telling them:

I don’t bite my tongue too much when it comes to these issues. We are opposed to any group that is promoting the violent overthrow of a government, including the government of Ethiopia, that has been democratically elected.

In May 2020, the Ethiopian Parliament exercising its constitutional authority postponed the parliamentary election scheduled for August 2020 for a period of six months due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The TPLF rejected the decision of the parliament and declared the current government illegitimate after October 1, 2020, the beginning date for a new parliament had it not been postponed.

In September 2020, the TPLF decided to unilaterally hold its own regional elections in clear violation of the Ethiopian Constitution (Art. 102) which authorizes only the federal government to hold elections.

The US did not utter a word of criticism or condemnation.

So much for Power’s “democracy” and “bright spots.”

To be continued in Part III…
